Step 4b: More taping

Look familiar? Notice how the other side of the boat has been taped. This mirror image is duplicated for both sides of the boat. Each design is laid out by hand, taped and ready to be Gel Coated.

This is where the true test of Custom Boating is started. All designs that are done by ADVANTAGE, are hand drawn in the Mold. More and more manufacturers are starting to use Gel Coating as their form of "Custom". ADVANTAGE has been doing it from the start. 

This truly defines that your boat is a Custom and unique boat. ADVANTAGE allows up to 7 colors as a standard option. Pick out 7 colored pencils and start to design your boat. Did you use all 7? Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet are the 7 colors of the rainbow; notice the similarity? You can use any or all of the colors of the rainbow in your design.
